FALLBROOK LIBRARY CELEBRATES ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

San Diego County Library is celebrating the one year anniversary of the Fallbrook Library, 124 S Mission Rd, on Saturday, January 28 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. The celebration will include opening remarks by Library Director José Aponte, followed by a host of activities and entertainment for all ages throughout the afternoon.
The Fallbrook Library opened to the public on January 16, 2011 and has experienced tremendous growth over its first year. Accoding to their website, the number of books, movies, and music checked out at the Fallbrook Library increased by nearly 22% this past fiscal year. Since the facility opened, library visits nearly doubled to approximately 30,000 visits to the library each month. In addition, the Library received six awards, including both local and national honors, in its first year of operation.
